Default Slow Server

Many times during the day the server operates painfully slow, probably due to heavy traffic. Today being Christmas and all, the server is as fast as I have ever seen it.

This poses as an issue in a few ways:
  1. The visitor tracking isn't real time, and is delayed like a stock-market ticker
  2. When using the Adobe Air console, the server often times out (and I can't refresh, so I must close and reopen the program)
  3. Invitations on a fast server appear within 3 seconds. When the server is running slow it usually takes anywhere between 10-20 seconds to come up. Very often visitors close the page or navigate to another
  4. The chat image on every page takes a while to load, so for about 10-20 seconds the design of the website is not displayed like what I had intended
  5. Chat messages take too long to transmit between the operator and visitor, resulting in a dissatisfied client

I wanted to know if you are reviewing any possible solutions to the problem, including more servers, or the ability to purchase the script for installation on my own server.

Thanks

I experience the same problems. Tonight (Sat, 21st of February, 20:00 GMT) the system is sooo slow, I could not even login into this forum. My home page would not even show the "live chat" buttons.

This is a great software, but is this happens often (dead slow), then it is unworkable.

Now it seems to work at normal speed. ie, when I browse at my site, through the console I can detect my own browsing with about 12 seconds delay.

Again the system is extremely slow. It took more than 1 minute for the www.intellilivehelp.com page to load.

Although I am logged in LiveHelp, I test my site and it shows "OffLine".

Hello Vasily

Yes, I noticed that the system is much more responsive the last 2-3 days that I began using it again. I think the biggest problem I see some times is the online button on the user's page, some times it is too slow to appear.

I'll pay more attention to it now.

For the past two weeks, the software fluctuated from working and responding within seconds to not working and disabling operator login (xooChat server error). The fluctuation in service is obviously a concern, and a number of chats were disrupted by the server, which reflects poorly on us.

I would really like to see an installable version on my own server, which will help ensure uptime reliability. I will begin a new thread containing this request along with a poll. Please vote..

I noticed that sometimes the server is too slow too. But in general it is much more responsive than 2-3 months ago.
