Default AdobeAir version of our Live Help service

Hi,

Has anyone heard of AdobeAir technology? It allows to create desktop applications for your web based applications. We are going to implement it for our operator console so you would run a separate application for your operator console and don't use browser at all.

It will not take too much time to complete it. So we hope to release it this month. Thanks for your patience.

Hi,
YES, that would be great. I have just prepared the beta version for our console.

Please download the attached file:
IntelliLiveHelp_Console_1.0.zip

Unpack it to your PC. You can see the following file:
IntelliLiveHelp_Console_1.0.air

In order to run AIR files you should download AdobeAir from their site.
Adobe Air latest version Install it.

Then run IntelliLiveHelp_Console_1.0.air use the following path during the installation: c:\Console\ or any path you wish.

Follow the instructions on the screen. That's all. You can see the shortcut on your desktop after installation and you can use it to login your operator console.

Let us know if you have any suggestions or problems. Note, it's not even a version - it's just a quick way not to use your browser If you like it we will go on the development. Thanks

No problem. Always at your service. Well, we are working on a separate console for our windows application. I already found few bugs. Also AJAX operator validation during login would fix some problems. Anyway, it's just a start

Running Windows XP Professional I did not find any bugs.

There is one thing I would like to see changed however.

When you first open the application you should have the Account ID box focused.

Thanks,
Meshach

Vasily, one more feature I would like to see implemented is a account ID, name and password remember function.

Thanks,
